The Balboa Theater will host its annual “Oscar extravaganza,” with host

Reed Kirk-Rahlmann, on Sunday, March 4.

The event begins with the Red Carpet at 3 p.m., followed by the Oscars telecast

at 5:30 p.m. There will be trivia, prizes, “crazy Oscar antics” and more. The event

usually sells out, so theater operators request the public get tickets in advance.
