Although marked as Laurel Hill, this photograph, dating from around 1885, is from a section of the International Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery on the west side of Lone Mountain. The burial ground was one of four large cemeteries in the area and was removed in the early 1930s to be replaced by Rossi Playground and housing. The domed Columbarium operated by the Neptune Society on Lorraine Court is the last remnant of the cemetery. Photo courtesy of a private collector/Western Neighborhoods Project.
