A few weeks ago, my neighbor on Balboa near 27th Avenue “rented” a dozen goats from an urban farm to clean his overgrown backyard. It was a wonderful, enviromentally friendly way to clean the yard, and a lot of fun, too.

We share a fence, and I joined him in feeding the goats my yard trimmings. Here are some photos.
