Press Release: SF Planning’s Housing Webinar Sept. 14

From the SF Planning Department:

Webinar: Shape the future of housing in San Francisco. As part of the adopted Housing Element, the City of San Francisco is required to plan for 36,000 new housing units in the state-designated Housing Opportunity Areas” in the western and northern portions of the city (pictured below).   Please join SF Planning to learn about the Housing Element zoning program, Expanding Housing Choice. At the webinar, you will learn about our existing zoning and land use rules and how we can make changes to better meet San Francisco’s housing needs, increase affordability for low- and middle-income households, and help advance racial and social equity. There will be a brief presentation followed by a moderated discussion.
