Press Release: Richmond District Robbery, Traffic Collision, May 14

From SFPD:

On May 14, at approximately 10:34 a.m., San Francisco Police officers from Richmond Station received a call of a robbery that occurred in the area of Balboa Street and 26th Avenue. During the robbery, the female victim was approached by two unknown males who forced her to the ground and stole her property. Officers observed the suspect vehicle in the area and briefly pursued it, but ultimately cancelled the vehicle pursuit due to the safety risk the fleeing suspect(s) posed to the public. The suspect vehicle collided with an occupied vehicle and then into a building in the area of Eighth Avenue and Cabrillo Street. The suspects fled on foot eastbound on Cabrillo Street. 

The victim involved in the robbery was medically assessed by paramedics on scene. The victim in the occupied vehicle involved in the hit and run was assessed and treated at the scene. Officers detained two individuals in the area for their investigation.
