Editor:
Long-time reader, first time commenting. But, I cannot hold myself back.
As I type this, my blood boils from Kopp’s ridiculous opinion which states both our presidential candidates are subpar. I do not need to expand upon Trump’s whole dumpster fire of a first term, absolute disgust of Jan. 6 and now this wretched campaign.
BUT, as a woman, I am so repulsed by Kopp’s digging up a story from 2019 where someone was upset that Ms Harris was demanding or had high expectations of her staff. Really? Is this trope of a strong, assertive woman is so played out. Once again, here is an older, white man disparaging a woman of color.
THIS IS THE REASON THIS ELECTION IS SO IMPORTANT – AS WOMEN, OUR LIVES ARE AT STAKE. LGBTQ citizens, Department of Education, Workers Rights, No Fault Divorce, IVF … the list continues as what will be destroyed. Our democracy is at stake. Maybe for old, wealthy, white guys this won’t be so bad, but for the rest of us ….
So, Quentin Kopp, I strongly disagree that we have two poor candidates. And I find your opinion off base and truly out of touch. Just like we joke in our family (based off the original “Father of the Bride”), Welcome to the 2020’s, Mr. Kopp.
Thanks for all you do.

I am not standing up for the ultra-conservative Kopp, but I have talked to Harris. I would never vote for her. She is a conservative prosecutor with one finger in the air before she takes a stand.
She has stood by (any ethical person would have resigned) while Biden send tons of bombs to Israel to murder innocent women and children.
She has no heart; no ethics; and no regard for anything except her own ambitions.
Every woman in California who cares about war, oppression and civil rights should vote for Jill Stein!
Harris, ethnicity aside (and this is completely immaterial) is a conservative prosecutor with absolutely no vision for the future.
Rather like HRC in this regard.
I did not vote for her either.

Harry,
Perhaps you could really make a difference by moving back to southwestern Pennsylvania and voting for Jill Stein — and really help get Trump (re)elected — rather than throwing away you vote in deep-Blue San Francisco.
Just a thought. 😉

I think that the 80 million people who did not vote elected tRump. If the Dems had anything other than hacks running, there might be some enthusiasm.
