Inner Sunset Lights Up for the Holidays at the Fourth Annual Holiday Lights Stroll

The Inner Sunset Merchants Association, in partnership with the Inner Sunset Park Neighbors and Sunset Mercantile, invites everyone to experience the magic of the holidays at the fourth annual Inner Sunset Holiday Lights Stroll on Dec. 7, 5-8 p.m.

The neighborhood will come alive as a dazzling winter wonderland. The evening begins with a special opening ceremony at Eighth Avenue and Irving Street, setting the stage for a festive celebration that unites local businesses and the community in a shared spirit of joy, holiday lights and cheer.

Join us for a night featuring trolley rides through the illuminated streets, living window displays with actors bringing holiday scenes to life, live music by talented local artists and photo ops galore for capturing memories with friends and family. Take a magical stroll along the entire festive route, stretching from Fifth Avenue to 18th Avenue, where beautifully lit and decorated storefronts set the scene for discovering unique local businesses offering one-of-a-kind holiday finds, delicious food and drink, fun activities and more.

For those who love a bit of adventure, a thrilling neighborhood-wide scavenger hunt will have participants using clues to earn raffle tickets throughout the evening, with prizes such as candy, gift cards and a grand prize – a “Taste of Inner Sunset” basket filled with goodies from local businesses and tickets to popular attractions.

Local merchants are pulling out all the stops this year with awe-inspiring decorations, mouthwatering food and drink offerings, special holiday promotions, and extended hours to offer a unique holiday shopping experience. The Holiday Lights Stroll is the perfect opportunity to support small businesses and discover all the unique gifts and services the neighborhood has to offer.
