Discharging a Firearm Within City Limits: Lincoln Way and 23rd Avenue, Feb. 1, 10:45 p.m.

A witness heard four gunshots coming from Lincoln Way and 23rd Avenue and saw a dark-colored sedan driving away from the scene.

Officers responded and located four fired cartridge casings at the scene and a tree with gunshot damage.

Discharging a Firearm in a Grossly Negligent Manner: 1800 Block of 14th Avenue, Feb. 1, 10:30 p.m.

A witness heard two gunshots outside a residence and checked the surveillance camera. The video showed the occupants in a dark-colored sedan stopping the vehicle in front of the witness’s house and firing two gunshots in the air before driving away.

Officers located two fired cartridge casings at the scene.

Robbery with Force: 24th Avenue and Noriega Street, Feb. 5, 1:15 p.m.

The victim was sitting in her vehicle when the suspect approached and asked the victim for directions. The suspect tried to kiss the victim’s hand to show appreciation for helping her and offered the victim two pieces of jewelry. The victim refused to accept the jewelry and told the suspect to go away.

The suspect forcibly grabbed the victim’s wrist and ripped the victim’s gold bracelet off. The suspect got into a waiting vehicle and the vehicle drove away before police arrived.

Robbery With Gun: 1300 Block of the Great Highway, Feb. 8, 7:30 p.m.

Two victims were standing in an Ocean Beach parking lot when three suspects robbed them at gunpoint.

The suspects fled in a dark-colored vehicle.

Reckless Driving: Irving Street and 24th Avenue, Feb. 9, 5:38 a.m.

Officers observed a vehicle doing donuts (driving in circles) at 24th Avenue and Irving Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle.

The driver was cited for reckless driving and the vehicle was towed.

Outstanding Warrants: 900 Block of Irving Street, Feb. 13, 9:43 a.m.

The suspect was trespassing inside a medical office. Officers arrested the suspect for outstanding warrants and for trespassing.

Vandalism to Property, Outstanding Warrant: 2400 Block of Irving Street, Feb. 14, 4:33 p.m.

Officers responded to a report that a subject vandalized an ATM.

Officers detained the subject at the scene. Surveillance footage revealed the subject did not vandalize the ATM.

The subject had an outstanding warrant and was arrested.

Driving while Under the Influence of Alcohol: Sunset and Lake Merced Boulevards, Feb. 16, 11:52 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision and determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.

The driver was arrested.

Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer, Recklessly Evading a Police Officer, Driving While Under the Influence of Drugs: 19th Avenue and Judah Street, Feb. 19, 3:20 a.m.

Officers located a vehicle that had been recklessly evading police officers at 19th Avenue and Judah Street. The vehicle was involved in an earlier incident where the vehicle rammed a patrol vehicle.

Officers pursued the vehicle to the area of Fourth Avenue and Koret Way where the vehicle collided into the back of a patrol vehicle. Officers later located the vehicle on Fourth Avenue and Lincoln Way.

The suspect was placed under arrest. It was determined that the suspect was under the influence of drugs.

Aggravated Assault with Gun: 37th Avenue and Santiago Street, Feb. 19, 2:44 p.m.

Officers responded to a call of a shooting.

Officers located a victim with a gunshot wound to his groin. The victim was uncooperative with the investigation and was transported to a hospital.

The victim’s vehicle was towed for investigation.

Battery, Mental Health Detention: Irving Street and 19th Avenue, Feb. 19, noon

Officers responded to a call of a fight between two subjects.

Officers located all parties involved in the altercation. It was determined the suspect was aggressively harassing people on the street and the victim intervened.

The victim refused to press charges against the suspect and the suspect was placed on a mental health detention.

Aggravated Assault with Weapon, Robbery: 46th Avenue and Judah Street, Feb. 19, 8:20 p.m.

The suspect hit the victim with a three-foot-long metal pole causing serious injuries.

The suspect then took the victim’s belongings and fled the scene.

Shoplifting, Vandalism: 2200 Block of Taraval Street, Feb. 21, 9:37 a.m.

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting incident with force.

The victim, the manager of the store, saw two suspects trying to steal items. The victim tried to stop the suspect, but the suspect punched the victim and threw items off the shelves.

The suspect then got into a vehicle and fled the scene.

Officers later located the vehicle and the suspects. After further investigation, the suspects were arrested.
