The victim, a pastor, was providing a church service when a suspect stood up and shouted obscene phrases. The suspect then threw a plastic water bottle at the victim but missed. The suspect left the premises.
Robbery: Judah and La Playa Streets, June 5, 4:32 p.m.
The victim told responding officers he was waiting to be picked up when 10 suspects assaulted him and stole his cell phone and shoes. The victim said the suspects were high school aged.
Evading Police Officer Recklessly: Santiago Street and 19th Avenue, June 10, 3:33 a.m.
Officers on patrol observed two vehicles running red lights. The vehicles stopped at a gas station next to an ATM. The officer believed that the suspects were in the process of stealing the ATM.
The suspects saw the officers and fled the scene.
Officers attempted to chase the suspects, but they were fleeing recklessly. The officers stopped the pursuit.
Assault: 25th Avenue and Judah Street, June 12, 12:07 a.m.
The victim was collecting recyclables when the suspect approached her and told her it was illegal.
The suspect started filming her, and the victim accidentally knocked the suspect’s phone out of his hands. The suspect started hitting the victim.
The suspect was later arrested.
Vehicle Burglary: 2400 Block of 33rd Avenue, June 15, 4:07 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a person breaking into a vehicle. Responding officers located the suspect. The person reporting the incident told officers he was woken up by his security camera by a suspect taking items from the victim’s vehicle.
After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
Assault: 1300 Block of 21st Avenue, June 17, 11:44 p.m.
The victim was taking out his garbage when he saw the suspect removing recyclables from his bin. The victim told the suspect to stop, but the suspect took glass bottles and threw them at the victim, causing injury.
The suspect fled the scene.
Battery: 3200 Block of 20th Avenue, June 17, 2:42 p.m.
The victim, a store manager, was escorting three subjects out of a store for causing a disturbance. One of the subjects threw an item, hitting the victim on his neck.
The suspect left the area.
Outstanding Warrant: 46th Avenue and Judah Street, June 17, 7:05 a.m.
An officer had information regarding a known subject with an outstanding arrest warrant who frequents the area. The officer located the subject and arrested him.
Attempted Stolen Vehicle: 2300 Block of 45th Avenue, June 17, 11:37 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of suspects breaking into a vehicle.
Officers arrived on the scene and located the suspect vehicle. The suspects fled when they saw the officers pulling up behind them.
Robbery: 2300 Block of Noriega Street, June 19, 9:07 p.m.
The victim told officers that he had just withdrawn money from an ATM when two suspects approached him. One of the suspects punched him while the other suspect took his wallet.
The suspects fled the scene.
Stunt Driving: 3600 Block of Lawton Street, June 21, 5:26 p.m.
Officers responded to a call of numerous people involved in stunt driving.
Officers were able to gather license plate information on the vehicles.
The suspects left the scene.
Assault: 3600 Block of Lawton Street, June 21, 5:30 p.m.
The victim was filming a stunt show when a suspect approached him and punched him numerous times.
