Assault: 46th Avenue and Judah Street, July 1, 12:57 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of an assault.
The victim told officers that he was sorting his property when a suspect walked up and started hitting him with a metal curtain rod.
The suspect was located and arrested.
Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon, Brandishing a Weapon, Parole Violation: 1300 Block of Ninth Avenue, July 2, 10:01 p.m.
Park Station officers were on patrol when they were flagged down by a Muni operator regarding a passenger on the train with a knife. As officers approached the train, they observed the suspect exit and re-enter the train with a knife in each hand and verbally engage the victim. Officers arrested the suspect without further incident.
A computer query revealed the suspect was on probation. He was booked for carrying a concealed dirk/dagger, brandishing a weapon and probation violation.
Theft, Outstanding Warrant: 3400 Block of Vicente Street, July 2, 4 a.m.
The victim told officers the suspect rang his camera doorbell. The victim looked at his live security footage and saw the suspect holding a torch lighter.
When the victim walked out, he saw his camera doorbell gone.
The suspect was located, and a computer check revealed a warrant for his arrest.
After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
Narcotics Paraphernalia: Judah Street and 29th Avenue, July 7, 1:03 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of an incident on a Muni vehicle.
Officers detained one party and determined he was on probation. A search revealed a glass pipe with suspected methamphetamine.
After further investigation, the subject was cited.
Suspended Driver’s License: Great Highway and Lincoln Way, July 8, 7:10 a.m.
An officer observed a vehicle making an illegal U-turn. The officer conducted a traffic stop, and a computer check revealed that the driver’s license was suspended.
The driver was cited.
Vehicle Tampering, Evading Police: Noriega Street and 30th Avenue, July 9, 4 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of suspects stealing wheels from a vehicle. Another call reported the same suspect stealing a catalytic converter.
Officers searched the area and located the suspect vehicle. The suspect saw the officer and fled the scene at a high rate of speed. The suspect was lost in the area.
Vehicle Tampering, Evading Police: 1900 Block of 41st Avenue, July 10, 1:41 a.m.
Officers were on patrol when they observed a suspect underneath a vehicle with a flashlight. When the officers approached the suspect, the suspect got into the driver’s seat of his vehicle and fled at a high rate of speed.
Officers chased the suspect until it was deemed unsafe. The suspect was lost in the area.
Assault, Hit-and-Run Collision: 1800 Block of Taraval Street, July 10, 7:07 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a hit-and-run.
The victim told officers she had finished getting gas when she was followed out by a vehicle. The victim stated that the suspect rear-ended her vehicle three times and left the scene.
Officers located the suspect, and after further investigation, he was arrested.
Robbery With Force: Great Highway and Lincoln Way, July 11, 9:48 p.m.
Richmond Station officers responded to a report of a robbery.
When officers arrived on the scene, the suspects had already fled the area and Taraval Station officers were with the victims of the robbery. The victims said they were entering their parked car after visiting the beach when they were approached by several subjects who proceeded to assault and rob them.
Officers obtained descriptions of several suspects. One of the victims was able to track his stolen cellphone. The tracking showed his cellphone was moving near the area of 43rd Avenue and Fulton Street. Richmond units responded to that location and observed several juveniles on a Muni bus matching the descriptions provided.
The juveniles were detained. Several of the juveniles were positively identified by the victims as the robbery suspects. The suspects were booked at the Juvenile Justice Center.
Vandalism to Property: 1800 Block of 38th Avenue, July 12, 2:05 p.m.
The witness informed officers a suspect had appeared at the home and attempted to drill through a lock. The suspect then fled the scene.
Later, officers received information that the suspect had returned.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers detained the suspect.
After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
Brandishing a Weapon: 2100 Block of 46th Avenue, July 13, 4:08 p.m.
The victim was sitting in her car in her driveway when the suspect approached holding three sticks. The suspect rang the doorbell and pulled on the gate. The suspect demanded that the victim get out of her vehicle. The suspect threw a stick at the victim’s vehicle.
The suspect was afraid and drove away. Officers arrived, and the suspect fled the scene.
Assault: 46th Avenue and Judah Street, July 24, 7:41 p.m.
The victim told officers that two days prior, he was sitting when the suspect walked up to him and grabbed his walking cane and used it to hit him on the head. The victim lost consciousness.
The victim identified the suspect, and he was subsequently arrested.
Driving While Under the Influence, Traffic Violation: 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard, July 24, 12:52 a.m.
Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle making an illegal turn, nearly colliding with another vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted. Officers spoke with the driver, who exhibited clear signs of intoxication.
Following further investigation, the driver was arrested.
Robbery: Taraval Street and 32nd Avenue, July 26, 9:40 p.m.
The victim called police to report he was robbed.
The victim told officers he had confronted the suspects who sold him a bad batch of illegal drugs. They got into an argument, and the suspect pulled out a firearm and took his property.
