Assault, Attempted Homicide With Knife: 400 Block of Balboa Street, July 24, 6:24 p.m.

Richmond Station officers responded to the intersection of Sixth Avenue and Balboa Street regarding a report of a fight and a possible stabbing. When officers arrived, they observed a person holding down the suspect.

Witnesses said a fight occurred at a bar between two individuals and the suspect attempted to stab the victim several times. The victim was able to subdue and hold down the suspect until police officers arrived. The victim sustained several abrasions to his neck, face, hands and chest.

The suspect was booked.

Possession for Sale of an Illegal Narcotic: 35th Avenue and Fulton Street, Aug. 2, 11 p.m.

Officers working the Dead & Co. Music Festival observed a U-Haul trailer with its back door open.

Officers could see inside the trailer and observed numerous metal bottles/tanks that appeared similar to the metal bottles/tanks that were seen being carried around by people selling nitrous oxide.

Officers contacted the occupant of the trailer and detained him.

Officers later observed a compressor that was being used to transfer suspected nitrous oxide from larger tanks inside the U-Haul trailer to smaller tanks. There were also numerous bags filled with balloons inside the trailer.

The subject was arrested and booked for possession for sale of an illegal narcotic.

Possession for Sale of a Hallucinogenic: 26th Avenue and Balboa Street, Aug. 8, 3:37 p.m.

Officers working the Outside Lands Music Festival responded to 26th Avenue and Fulton Street regarding a report of a subject selling drugs – ecstasy – to concert goers.

San Francisco Park Rangers and SFPD officers observed the subject conduct multiple transactions selling illegal narcotics. Members of the SFPD Honda unit (dirt bikes) arrived on scene and detained the subject. Narcotics were found on the subject, and a records check revealed the subject was on active CDC parole out of San Diego.

The subject’s vehicle was located nearby and searched, as a condition of his parole. Additional illegal narcotics were located inside the subject’s vehicle, including suspected ketamine and suspected dimethyltryptamine (DMT).

The subject was placed on a parole hold and booked for possession of narcotics for sale.
