From Playmates Preschool:

Playmates Preschool Harvest Festival Block Party – A Neighborhood Tradition

When: 11am – 3pm on Saturday, Nov. 8
Where:
 Playmates Preschool, 2340 42nd Ave.

Get ready, Sunset District! Playmates Preschool is thrilled to invite the entire community to its Harvest Festival Block Party, a day filled with fun, food and festivities for all ages. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome!

Kids can enjoy endless games, prizes, a bounce house and more with the purchase of a $25 wristband. (Note: not all games are included in the wristband. For example, our traditional cake walk is an additional fee.) Families can dig into delicious grilled hotdogs, test their taste buds at the Chili Cook-Off, and sip refreshing drinks. Don’t miss out on the raffle, which promises exciting prizes for lucky winners.

Playmates Cooperative Preschool is a legacy business that has been serving families in San Francisco for the past 75 years. Playmates is a safe, nurturing, diverse community of families and staff working together to foster the creative, social, physical, emotional and cognitive development of our children using developmentally appropriate methodology.

What makes Playmates unique is its cooperative model, where parents are actively involved in teaching, supporting and fundraising for the school. Over the decades, the Playmates community has come together through challenges and triumphs – always with a spirit of teamwork and creativity.

The Harvest Festival has been a cherished Playmates tradition since 1995. Last year, the celebration spilled into the street for the very first Harvest Festival Block Party, bringing neighbors, families and friends together for an unforgettable day. This year promises to be even bigger and better!

Mark your calendars, invite your friends and come celebrate fall at the Harvest Festival Block Party. Every game played, cake won, and raffle ticket purchased helps support Playmates Preschool’s mission to foster creativity, learning, and community in the Sunset.
