Battery: 800 Block of Irving Street, Sept. 6, 7:01 p.m.
A victim came to Taraval Station to report an incident.
She and her friend were seated at a restaurant next to the suspect. The suspect began coughing, snorting and sneezing. In response, the victim and her friend moved to another table.
After finishing his meal, the suspect walked behind the victim and deliberately began coughing toward the back of her head, then walked away.
Outstanding Warrant: 2300 Block of 24th Avenue, Sept. 10, 10:34 a.m.
A subject walked into Taraval Station to inquire about a previous incident.
A computer check of the subject’s name was conducted to locate the incident number. During the check, it was revealed that the subject had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
The subject was taken into custody.
Homicide: Junipero Serra Boulevard and Ocean Avenue, Sept. 10, 4:43 p.m.
San Francisco Police officers responded to a report of a stabbing.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a male victim suffering from an apparent stab wound.
Officers rendered aid and requested paramedics to the scene. Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital for life threatening injuries. Despite the lifesaving efforts of emergency responders and medical staff, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased at the hospital.
The SFPD Homicide Detail responded to the scene and is leading this investigation. A suspect has been arrested.
Vandalism: 1700 Block of 39th Avenue, Sept. 11, 10:30 p.m.
A victim told officers the suspect had vandalized the area where he lives. Officers noticed furniture scattered all over the floor and graffiti spray painted on the wall.
Officers located a suspect, and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
Stolen Vehicle: 1400 Block of 41st Avenue, Sept. 11, 2:54 a.m.
A victim called police regarding his stolen vehicle.
The victim was tracking his motorcycle in the area. The victim told officers he saw the suspect, who had stolen his motorcycle, enter a bathroom. Officers located the suspect and later detained him.
The victim told officers he reviewed his surveillance footage, and the suspect detained was the same person who had stolen his motorcycle.
The suspect was arrested.
Battery: 2000 Block of 37th Avenue, Sept. 14, 12:38 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a pepper spray incident.
The victim was attempting to park in a space when the suspect tried to occupy the same space.
A verbal altercation ensued, and the suspect pepper-sprayed the victim and left the scene.
Breaking Windows, Battery: 2200 Block of Judah Street, Sept. 18, 5:21 a.m.
A victim told the officers that a known suspect had been going to his business and breaking the window. The victim said he confronted the suspect, and the suspect physically attacked him, causing injuries.
Officers located the suspect, and after further investigation, he was arrested.
Driving While Intoxicated: 19th Avenue and Taraval Street, Sept. 19, 11:55 p.m.
An officer observed a vehicle failing to stop at a posted stop sign. The officer conducted a traffic stop. The officer noted a heavy odor of an alcoholic beverage and cannabis.
After further investigation and performing a standardized field sobriety test, the driver was arrested.
Outstanding Warrant: 1300 Block of 46th Avenue, Sept. 23, 4:46 p.m.
A victim told an officer the suspect had shoplifted numerous items, but he did not want to press charges since he got the merchandise back.
The suspect was detained, and a computer check revealed he had warrants for his arrest.
The suspect was arrested.
Trespassing: 1600 Block of 22nd Avenue, Sept. 27, 6:18 p.m.
A group of juveniles entered a church through an open window. Police arrived at the scene and detained the juveniles. The church did not want to pursue criminal charges against the juveniles. The juveniles were later released to their parents.
Mailbox Burglary: 22nd Avenue and Irving Street, Sept. 29, 11:09 p.m.
U.S. Postal Inspectors observed two suspects breaking into a mailbox.
The suspects attempted to flee and crashed into two vehicles.
The suspects were arrested.
