The award-winning Sunset Night Market returns Friday, Feb. 27 to kick off the Year of the Horse! Join Sunset Mercantile, Wah Mei, Asian Inc., and Into The Streets for the first in a series of four night markets happening in 2026. 

The festivities start at 5 pm with live performances, martial arts demonstrations, music, dancing, and games at the Fun Zone.

With over 35 food options and 75 retail vendors, Irving Street between 22nd and 25th Ave is going to be transformed into the bustling, vibrant night markets seen throughout Asia. Enjoy authentic dishes from Dumpling Kitchen and Sushi Obsession, try something new from The Chinita Baker, or dive into classic street foods with The Kabob Trolley and Disco Dogs. Quench your thirst with unique drinks from FOAM Tea House, Pure Cane Juice, Smile Cafe, and more.

There’s a full night of entertainment too! See martial arts demonstrations (and a lion dance) from Jing Mo and The San Francisco Happy Dance Team. At 7 p.m., Chef Martin Yan of Yan Can Cook will be doing a cooking demo at the Main Stage and yo-yo master Ernest Kahn will be performing at the 24th Avenue Dance Space. For those interested in playing games, stop by the Mahjong Zone for this cultural favorite, then hit the Fun Zone for a giant slide, foosball, a bounce house, crafts and lots more fun-for-all-ages activities.

And don’t forget that the small businesses on Irving Street are open all day before the market. Essential services like grocery stores, laundromats, dry cleaners and pharmacies are such an important part of the community and Sunset Mercantile is committed to supporting these local shops and the people who run them.
