CAT RESCUE

Philly Jenkins Rescue is a 501(c)(3) San Francisco-based cat rescue organization that operates solely through fosters and donations. The organization’s mission is to save cats from the streets of San Francisco and from euthanasia by providing comprehensive medical care. To reduce the financial barrier of adopting a rescue cat, the rescue covers all medical expenses before adoption. The adoption process begins with foster-to-adopt, followed by home interviews and personally delivering the rescued cats to their new homes. We also provide supplies for new owners and offer resources and education on cat care. Committed to building a strong community, we hold events at local pet stores across San Francisco, including pop-up events. Our founder, Mimi Parker, mentors student volunteers from SFUSD high schools, providing learning opportunities to observe surgeries and learn about the medical aspects of rescue work. Our founder is dedicated to sharing knowledge and supporting students who have a passion for helping animals. To learn more, find Philly Jenkins on Facebook or Instagram, or email phillyjenkinsrescue@phillyjenkinsrescue.org.
