In response to St. Ignatius’ request to entirely cancel 3 Sunday markets and reduce another 7 Sunday markets to 1 block, I must point out the catastrophic impact this request will have on the sustainability of the Outer Sunset Farmers Market & Mercantile, as well as the livelihood of the 70-90 farmers, small businesses and organizations in attendance on a given Sunday and the community who have come to depend on the market.
I love Chile rellenos, but I cannot digest the fat they are usually cooked with. And they are often filled with cheese, which my husband cannot tolerate. So, he created this quick to prepare, low fat and cheese-free version. The recipe does contain eggs and uses a lot of vegetables in stuffing the chiles.
The flier advertising the Inner Sunset Free Fix-It Fair said it all: “We’ll try to fix anything – except electronics and relationships – for FREE. Bring your wobbly, loose, broken, frayed, splintered, torn, ripped, cracked severed item. If we can’t fix it, we’ll give you twice your money back.”

And finally, I also want to thank the voters of District 4 and Citywide — with all the ballots counted, Proposition G, Public Health Emergency Leave, has passed in a landslide, with more than 64% of voters supporting it. It won in every district in the City, and nearly every precinct.
In response to changing trip patterns and subway improvements, service changes are scheduled for July 9 for the L Bus. The L Bus route will be shortened to run between the San Francisco Zoo and West Portal Station, with increased frequency of trips.
For far too long, City College has suffered from budget problems that have hampered its financial stability, threatened its accreditation and discouraged enrollment.
Officers arrived on scene and discovered the train left the station. Officers were informed that the train was headed to the Castro Muni Station. Officers responded to Castro Station where they located two victims on a Muni train. Officers rendered aid and summoned medical attention.
The City can only do so much to keep these newly planted trees watered enough to ensure their continued growth. It would be satisfying to see more residents make a concerted effort to keep these trees alive and healthy with some maintenance …
