Hokkaido Sashimi Marketplace has become my go-to for casual sushi. The fish marketplace is a local favorite. The fish is some of the freshest in the City, and it is the perfect spot for a meal on the go. The quality of fish versus the low price point is quite a deal for San Francisco! Inside the shop, you’ll find nigiri boxes, sashimi plates of fatty tuna, poke bowls and plenty of cut rolls – all under $20 each. For two, I recommend picking up a couple of boxes and a couple of miso soups. When checking out, make sure you peek and see if they still have the spam musubi in stock – it always goes fast!
When you step into DamnFine Coffee Co., the first couple of things you notice are the beautiful photographs on the wall and kind employees who work behind the counter, always greeting customer with a smiling face. In addition to delicious coffee – try the iced vanilla-bean-paste latte – the shop also specializes in food to go; the pizza toast and salted chocolate chip cookie are crowd favorites.
Hi NRG, a coffee pop-up hosted at High Treason, is the perfect start to a perfect day in the Richmond. The coffee pop-up is brought to you by Luis Gonzalez and Nathan Kruse, two best friend-ex-Coffee-Movement baristas who wanted to bring a new spin to the coffee scene in San Francisco.
In September, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors unanimously voted to grant the building landmark status and plans are now underway to renovate the dilapidated structure with the goal of opening it up to the public by its 100-year anniversary in 2025.
The Lincoln Park Golf Course is among the oldest in the western states, but it also has a unique historical legacy, the evidence for which lies underneath it with perhaps 20,000 buried human remains.
