For nearly a decade, futuristic-looking Waymo and Cruise “autonomous vehicles” (AVs) have roamed the streets of tech-forward San Francisco, with human “safety” drivers behind the wheel. These AVs were being programmed and tested for the day when they could transport passengers and goods without human drivers and “transform the transportation system.” While our transportation system is yet to be transformed, driverless cars are here.
Happily, Tech Squad is here to help. Tech Squad offers free technical support and training to older adults and adults with disabilities who are San Francisco residents, providing in-person sessions in the Richmond and Sunset districts.
To continue the efforts in serving the community, we are excited to announce that we have another opportunity in November to provide Free Basic Tablet & Smartphone Operations for CANTONESE SPEAKERS Class at Richmond District.

Every Saturday, from 2-4 p.m., and Fridays, from 4-5 p.m., a member of the
Sunset Branch Library’s Teen Computer Corps is available to answer patrons’
questions about e-mail, lap-top computers, tablets, cell phones, digital cameras,
electronic gadgets and the Internet.
