The heart of Golden Gate Park is the Music Concourse, an open-air plaza flanked by two state-of-the-art cultural institutions: the California Academy of Sciences and the M.H. de Young Memorial Museum. It is also the site of the beloved Japanese Tea Garden.
Many visitors and some locals delight at seeing a small herd of buffalo in Golden Gate Park. Seasoned San Franciscans and knowledgable visitors know the truth: the large, lumbering animals grazing in the enclosed meadow along John F. Kennedy Drive just west of Spreckels Lake aren’t buffalo. They are American bison.
Advice from health care agencies (such as the CDC) about the importance of personal sanitation and keeping social distance from others to protect ourselves may have helped us in minimizing the infected cases of the coronavirus.

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) releases the following upcoming event-related traffic and transit impacts for this weekend, from Friday, March 27 through Monday, March 30.
The public has rushed to help with donations from $5 to $10,000 and the GoFundMeLink (gf.me/u/xsngc2) has been shared hundreds of times with avid support. Over 200 donors have contributed. So successful in its first 24 hours, the goal of the GoFundMe has been increased by $25,000 to house even more people until the city takes this on.
