Fulton Street between Sixth and 11th avenues is part of the City’s Vision Zero “High Injury Network” where the most collisions occur — and each of the four locations where the crossing distance would be reduced is a pedestrian entrance to Golden Gate Park.
The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) is in the planning phase of a project to improve safety for bicycle riders and pedestrians on Fulton Street. Segments of Fulton are located on San Francisco’s High Injury Network, according to the SFMTA website.
