San Francisco Recreation and Park Department officials broke ground on Nov. 14 on a renovation project that will update the interior of the South Sunset Clubhouse into a more dynamic space, enhancing its ability to serve seniors in the City’s Sunset District.
A groundbreaking event was held by the Community Youth Center of San Francisco (CYC) on Nov. 10 to celebrate the vision of the future home of the Richmond Community Hub. The Richmond Community Hub will take over the empty building at 952 Clement St. and will provide services and resources to residents in the Richmond District and throughout San Francisco.
Tennis enthusiasts of all ages gathered today with City officials, the Tennis Coalition of San Francisco and the San Francisco Parks Alliance to celebrate a new era for public tennis in San Francisco with the groundbreaking of the Golden Gate Park Tennis Center renovation.
The groundbreaking for the Golden Gate Park Tennis Center renovation will take place Wednesday, April 17. The facility will undergo a $27 million renovation, which will make the 125-year-old site one of the best public tennis facilities in the nation.
