The live comedy show is about 90 minutes long and the audience is surprisingly a wonderful mixture of young and old (we are on the older side!) It features about six comedians with the show ending with a special guest headliner.

San Francisco has no future without families, and families need places to live. Without more housing, “SF natives” are an endangered species.
Artificial turf should never have been used in Golden Gate Park or San Francisco playing fields. It is toxic, pollutes the environment and poses a danger to all San Franciscans.
It’s absolutely amazing what we’ve already accomplished with over 2,200 cleanups organized, 550,000 gallons of trash removed, and 11,000 unique volunteers who have joined a cleanup; but we want even more!
As a native San Franciscan, I have always loved the evocative sound of the foghorns on murky evenings. To me, the foghorns are truly the sound of San Francisco. But during recent foggy weather, my 10-year-old daughter remarked, “Dad, I never hear the foghorns anymore.” And I realized that I wasn’t hearing them anymore either!
As someone who has done a deep dive into the San Francisco Police Commission, our citywide staffing shortage and funding obstacles, I urge all San Franciscans who care about public safety to understand Prop. B and vote “No.” In it’s current form, it is a misleading and purposefully destructive measure.
On one side there is a wealthy technocrat who is foul-mouthed, makes death threats against our supervisors and brags about it, and on the other side there is a public interest journalist who walks away from a coffee shop with some campaign literature. The latter is regrettable, the former reprehensible.
Our first production as a westside-based theater will be a 90-minute community reading of Shakespeare’s Hamlet. The cast will combine trained, experienced local actors with other members of our neighborhood to celebrate Shakespeare’s birthday.
If no creative solutions will be enacted soon to curtail this growing trend of bold, open shoplifting in our essential stores, more owners will be forced to close their businesses, realizing that, paradoxically, the shoplifters have gotten the upper hand, as if they own their stores.
She was a breath of fresh air for those who read the RR – a progressive voice who wrote informed columns on affordable housing, how things work in the City, etc. I will miss her.
Beyond the “SF Democrats for Change” and “Labor and Working Families” slates, there are independent candidates, including myself, who are also vying for positions within the DCCC. Specifically, there are two independent candidates in AD-17 and one in AD-19 – the district I am proud to be running in.
… I was concerned his remarks seemed negative and inflammatory. Mr. Min calls for “action” against a recent increase in neighborhood crime. And the organization’s name, DRAGON, which stands for “Defending Richmond and Galvanizing Our Neighborhood,” is also concerning.
Supervisor. Julie’s arguments there, and in her more recent “Lies, Damned Lies and Statistics” commentary, conjure a “class war” narrative in an attempt to blur important electoral choices SF residents have in the year ahead.
The 24-seat committee which is tasked with running the city’s Democratic party is going to change, fingers crossed, for the better. If you are a registered Democrat, you can (and should) make your voice heard and vote to move your local party leadership forward.
