Model Boating Season Begins March 14 at GG Park’s Speckels Lake
March 14 is Opening Day, the first day of the model boating season at Spreckels Lake in Golden Gate Park. This event includes the Ragtop/Stinkpot Relay Regatta, a friendly relay competition that cleverly includes skippers and boats from the Power Squadron, R/C Sail Squadron, and Freesail Squadron. The Opening Day regatta will begin about 1 p.m. on the south side of Spreckels Lake.
Teaching Kids to Sail
ur next Sunday sailing for kids will be on July 21st. The 11 a.m.-1 p.m. window is the perfect time for good wind conditions.
