GG Park dog field getting $2 million overhaul
An off-leash dog walking area in Golden Gate Park, west of Spreckels Lake and near the
intersection of Fulton Street and 40th Avenue, is slated for a $2 million makeover
sometime this year.

On average, California’s drivers spend $762 a year on repairs for damage caused by road
conditions. This isn’t just a San Francisco or Bay Area issue. California ranks 48th in the nation for the condition of our highways, and more than half of our state’s bridges need repairs or replacement.

New Autumn Moon Festival rises on Clement Street
Hundreds of local San Francisco residents began crowding the already busy
commercial section of Clement Street, between Fifth to Eighth avenues, by 10 a.m.
on Sept. 23 for the Richmond District’s first annual Autumn Moon Festival.

Navy from 1996 to 2001 and now works to help homeless veterans.

If we’ve learned anything from these last few months, it’s that our progress to
become a more perfect union is fragile. We must be vigilant about keeping the
progress we have made, and stopping rollbacks of justice and equality.
