The Surfrider Foundation is offering free cigarette containers for the outside of
businesses that allow smoking in an effort to keep cigarette butts out of the
environment.
The historic Mountain Lake Park, located at 12th Avenue and Lake Street, reopened
to much fanfare on June 8.

The 75th annual Mother’s Day Rose Show, sponsored by the SF Rose Society, was held at the Hall of Flowers in Golden Gate Park on May 14. The show featured a diverse array of roses, some of which were chosen best in their category.
