I attended the Board of Supervisors meeting that decided the fate of JFK Drive in Golden Gate Park. Prior to the vote, there were presentations of studies that had no focus on the Monday-to-Friday closings.

As most of the readers of my column know by now, I tend to write on what is the most relevant real estate topic at the moment. I get my ideas from the people I talk with every day. If certain questions come up often, then that becomes the column of the month.
The SFMTA recently completed the first phase of outreach for the Sunset Neighborways project, taking in feedback from neighbors across the Sunset and from hundreds of parents from neighborhood schools.

I strongly support recalling Chesa Boudin as a necessary step to make our neighborhood and our city safer.
This is my friend Jim Sugarek’s vegan interpretation of his mom’s Tex-Mex chili recipe. The omission of meat makes this dish veg-friendly And the addition of tofu and more vegetables gives it a colorful and nutritional boost. Served with rice and/or tortilla this is a substantial meal.
