Voters who are unhappy with his decisions will have the opportunity to express their belief at the ballot box in the regularly scheduled 2026 election. This seems to me the better way to go.

Enough so, that a recall effort has launched against District 4 Supervisor Joel Engardio for his role. But from the looks of it, average residents see little evidence a recall is being undertaken.

Budget Shortfall May Require Cuts to Muni Service
This summer, the San Francisco Municipal Railway is expected to cut service by 4%, due to a $50 million budget deficit, attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic. The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) claims that if these cuts are not implemented, by July the service will no longer be able to afford to replace operators and cleaning and maintenance staff.
