Editor:
Some links I recently found helpful regarding public meetings:
I attended an available short Zoom presentation done monthly by the League of Women Voters which covers pointers for individual citizens attending or observing public local government meetings. The Zoom registration link is: https://lwvsf.org/home/f/trainings-to-observe-public-meetings .
The presenter asked me if I have attended a public meeting, such as the monthly Police Station Community Meeting. Yes, I attended the Richmond District Station Community meeting last month; she was pleased to hear that Captain Canning allocated plenty of time for audience questions.
Note to readers: Captain Canning’s monthly meetings are not held at the police station but at different Richmond district locations throughout the year, so I recommend using the below links to find his applicable calendar entry (4th Tuesday of the month, 5:00-6:00 P.M.) to avoid finding some other meeting calendar while diving through the many web pages.

If not desired calendar month, use arrows < > on left side to reach desired month.
