Letter to the Editor: Philhour Is Breed’s ‘Rubber Stamp’

Editor:

There is a lot of talk about moderates and progressives this election. As soon as someone starts talking about moderates and progressives in city government, you can be sure that person is out to spread misinformation and sow discord among neighbors. They want to create artificial villains to suit their own political purposes. Don’t listen to them; they have a political agenda that has nothing to do with the complex realities of life in our City.

Marjan Philhour and her husband have both worked for London Breed and Marjan will be nothing but a rubber stamp for what Breed wants, if either of them get elected. London Breed is funded and supported by Silicon Valley billionaire Ron Conway and it’s his interests that she looks after, not ours. Marjan’s campaign is supported by billionaire-funded Political Action Committees (PACs) that think they can buy our city government – PACs like TogetherSF, GrowSF and ConnectedSF.  If elected, Marjan will be working for their interests, not ours.

Stand strong for the Richmond! Vote for Connie Chan, an independent and honest voice; one that won’t sell out our community. Connie is smart, capable and experienced and truly cares about the Richmond. Tell the billionaires that the Richmond can’t be bought.
