Airbnb dropped its meritless lawsuit against San Francisco in May, a game changing
event for the city’s efforts to reasonably regulate short-term residential
rentals to tourists.
If we’ve learned anything from these last few months, it’s that our progress to
become a more perfect union is fragile. We must be vigilant about keeping the
progress we have made, and stopping rollbacks of justice and equality.
“The Ocean Beach Master Plan, because of erosion at south
Ocean Beach, identified the need for some retreat so that the beach
can persist there, also protection of the wastewater infrastructure
there,” said Maggie Wenger, of the SF Planning Department,
during a community meeting in May.
The SF Board of Supervisors held a hearing on May 24 to review the current status of the San Francisco Ground Water Project.
