The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department along with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) announced recently that repairs at Sigmund Stern Grove’s Concert Meadow are nearing completion and will be ready just in time for the 85th annual Stern Grove Festival. Additional repair work in other areas of Stern Grove will continue through summer of 2023, but will not affect the concert series.
UC San Francisco has received approval for its plans to build a state-of-the-art hospital at UCSF Helen Diller Medical Center at Parnassus Heights to meet the region’s growing demand for specialty care and California’s rigorous hospital seismic requirements.

As always, I am impressed by the commentary by the Honorable Quentin L. Kopp, this time advice on ballot measures in the May issue of the Sunset Beacon, where he begins with the prose by Walt Whitman where he says “I know nothing grander than a well contested American national election”.
Chesa Boudin is just doing what he pledged to do; thus, a recall is uncalled for, or at least premature.
