Musgrove’s work has a way of making the viewer notice what is barely noticed. His refined paintings have realism, but he says he has evolved a more minimalist approach, with some abstraction.
Alicia Guckenheimer, a Sunset resident and artist, displayed her work in the spring of 2019. These photos were taken on Saturday, May 11, the last day of her exhibition and the third anniversary of Playland at 43rd Avenue.
DeWitt posts photos nearly every day on Facebook, many of them focusing on the Sunset District, where he lives, and on Ocean Beach, just a few blocks west on Taraval Street.

Ahn has loved to draw since he was a child. His images are often built upon cinema and photography. He became serious about art while attending Brown University, where he drew cartoons for the school newspaper.
One of the special aspects about the Sunset District that artist Douglas Gorney appreciates most is “the ocean light,” especially during the autumn and the city’s “Indian summer.”

office and the assistance of the SF Arts Commission, People of
Parkside/Sunset (POPS) and SF Shines, a program under the city’s
Office of Economic and Workforce Development.
Pang opened his business at 2605 Clement St. in 2005. It was originally a print shop but in 2017 it became his art gallery, called Little Gallery. He is currently looking to exhibit other artists’ creations and hopes to exhibit more of his work in different spaces.
