As college campus protests over the war in Gaza spread both nationally and globally in April, student protesters from the University of San Francisco (USF), a private Jesuit university on the eastern edge of the Richmond District, joined with other pro-Palestinian student movements and erected their own student encampment on April 29, called “People’s University.”
Less than a day later, on June 24, on a sunny Friday afternoon, she lifted her own sign amidst crowds of protesters at San Francisco’s City Hall, joining calls against the restriction and removal of abortion access in many states across the United States.
“There were more than 1,000 cars, it was incredible,” Erin Feher said about the June 4 caravan protest she organized.
