On Feb. 18, SFMTA is set to rubber-stamp the vague, unfunded and reckless “Biking and Rolling Plan.” This 250+ page document proposes an aggressive expansion of bike lanes, “slow streets,” and other ambiguous measures, all requiring the drastic removal of street parking and driving lanes.
Rec. and Park joined dedicated volunteers and key environmental organizations to kick off a sand dune replanting project at Ocean Beach recently. The collaborative effort aims to restore the health of the beach’s vital dune ecosystem, enhance biodiversity, and protect native species.

SFPD arrested three armed suspects linked to illegal firearms and a Richmond burglary after a thorough investigation. Officers seized multiple firearms and returned stolen merchandise to the business owner.

Outer Richmond residents Charlie O’Leary and Jack Pain opened the wine bar last September on Balboa Street near 36th Avenue, and in the months since they have curated an extensive and eclectic schedule of offerings for westside residents.

The SF Department of Elections approved a petition on Jan. 21 to recall Engardio, submitted by a group called Our Neighborhood, Our Future. That started a 120-day period to get just less than 10,000 signatures to qualify for a special election later this year.
