Letter to the Editor: Problems With Approval Process for Extra GG Park Concert

Since the first concert isn’t projected to take place until after the 2024 Outside Lands, what’s the hurry?  Why not put off the vote for a month and follow up on some of the concerns raised?  People who depend on the Polo Fields cycling track for exercise and relaxation are locked out for 4-5 weeks if the post-Outside Lands concert is approved.

When a tent recently appeared near the curb on Sunset Boulevard, my office received many emails and calls from concerned residents. It was the first time they had seen a tent in that westside area, and they worried one tent would turn into 10 or even 100, like they see downtown.
