Press Release: SFPD Arrests Geary Boulevard Assault Suspect

From SFPD:

San Francisco Police Arrest Geary Boulevard Assault Suspect

On August 10, 2022, at approximately 11:52 a.m., San Francisco Police Officers assigned to Richmond Station responded to the area of 26th Ave and Geary Blvd on a report of a battery that just occurred. Upon arrival, officers met with a 65-year-old female victim who told officers that she was walking on Geary Boulevard near 26th Avenue when an unknown male suspect walked in front of her and punched her several times. The victim said that the assault was unprovoked, and she suffered non-life-threatening injuries as a result.  Following the attack, the suspect fled the scene.

Investigators obtained video of the suspect who was later positively identified as 35-year-old Terence Chrisman of San Francisco. On Monday August 22, 2022, a police officer assigned to Central Station was on the 800 block of Bryant Street when he spotted Chrisman and took him into custody without incident. Chrisman was booked at San Francisco County Jail on two charges of assault likely to cause great bodily injury (245(a)(4) PC), elder abuse (368(b)(1) PC), and new felony arrest while out of custody on pending felony (12022.1 PC).

Investigators believe a second victim was attacked by Chrisman just prior to the attack on the 65-year-old victim. Investigators are asking that if you have any information about this incident, to please contact the SFPD.

While an arrest has been made, this remains an open and active investigation.  Anyone with information is asked to call the SFPD Tip Line at 1-415-575-4444 or Text a Tip to TIP411 and begin the text message with SFPD. You may remain anonymous.

  1. Thank God this criminal is off the streets and that Mr. Boudin is no longer our DA, or else this guy’s charges would get reduced to infractions and a $100 fine…..vote for Brooke Jenkins

    • Wally, you don’t know that. Fact: Boudin actually pursued more convictions that his predecessors.
So you are okay with a Republican billionaire using two LLC’s based at the same San Rafael address, one of whom paid Mrs. Brooke — when she said she was a volunteer.
These people took advantage of the chaos created by the pandemic — and the fact that SFPD seemed to look the other way too frequently — to foist an ad fueled hysteria devoid of the actual facts. Something even the police chief himself attested.
So your fears were hacked so that Breed could appoint an ally into the office of DA while all of corruption swirls around the mayor’s office like dirty water swirling around a drain-plug.
So I guess you are also okay with right-wing billionaires hacking our democracy because they are unwilling to wait for an election.
That’s what happened y’all. You got played.
