SFPD Investigates Richmond District Homicide 

On Aug. 24 at approximately 9:31 p.m., San Francisco Police Officers from Richmond District responded to the 3900 block of Balboa Street to investigate a reported robbery and aggravated assault. Officers arrived on the scene and located a 60-year-old male victim laying on the ground and unconscious. Officers summoned medics to the scene who transported the victim to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.  

On Aug. 29, despite lifesaving efforts made by hospital medical staff, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.  

SFPD Homicide Detail is leading the investigation. No arrest has been made at this time.
