Battery, Vandalism, Traffic Collision: Intersection of 47th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard, June 6, 10:06 p.m.

The victim stated that he was driving when the suspect vehicle ran a red light and collided with his vehicle. The suspect then exited his vehicle and punched the victim twice. The victim re-entered his vehicle and closed the door. The suspect subsequently kicked the vehicle, causing the window to shatter. The suspect drove away.

Reckless Driving: Intersection of 19th Avenue and Eucalyptus Drive, June 9, 12:11 a.m.

While on patrol, officers stopped next to a vehicle at a traffic signal and observed the driver asleep at the wheel. When the signal turned green, the vehicle proceeded through the intersection. Officers determined that the vehicle was operating on “autopilot” and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was subsequently cited, and the vehicle was towed.

Warrant Arrest: 1200 Block of 19th Avenue, June 9, 2:27 a.m.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim told officers that an acquaintance had taken items from his garage and left the scene with them. Officers located the suspect in possession of the stolen property. The property was later returned, and no charges were pursued regarding the theft. A records check revealed that the suspect had an active warrant for his arrest. The suspect was subsequently arrested.

Traffic Violation: Intersection of 21st Avenue and Taraval Street, June 14, 8:55 p.m.

An officer observed a vehicle stopped in a traffic lane, blocking other vehicles and causing traffic to divert into the LRV lane. The driver of the illegally parked vehicle entered the vehicle and drove away. The officer conducted a traffic stop, and a records check revealed that the driver had never been issued a driver’s license. The driver was cited, and the vehicle was towed.

Methamphetamine Arrest: Intersection of 48th Avenue and Kirkham Street, June 17, 7:30 a.m.

Officers located a vehicle parked along the red curbline with expired registration. Officers contacted the driver, who was on probation. The driver was in possession of suspected methamphetamine and was placed under arrest.

Attempted Robbery, Shooting into Inhabited Dwelling, Firearm Possession Arrest: 1400 Block of 39th Avenue, June 17, 5:50 p.m.

The suspect met the victim to purchase a replica Rolex watch. During the transaction, the suspect attempted to forcibly take the watch from the victim. A brief struggle ensued, after which the suspect produced a handgun and fired one round toward the victim and his friends. The bullet struck the victim’s vehicle. The suspect was later taken into custody and placed under arrest.

Assault: Intersection of the Great Highway and Judah Street, June 25, 8:19 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of a fight. Officers made contact with the victim, who stated that he was walking with his wife when the suspect, who was walking toward him, shouted at him to stop following him. The suspect then began punching the victim before fleeing the scene.

Threats: 500 Block of Skyline Boulevard, June 27, 4:23 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of threats. The witness told officers that she received a phone call from the suspect, who demanded that his membership be reinstated. The suspect stated that if his membership was not reinstated, he would have someone harm the business and its members.

Battery: Intersection of 19th Avenue and Irving Street, June 29, 10:42 p.m.

The victim told officers that she was on Muni when a suspect walking by shoved her from behind and struck the left side of her face while exiting the bus.
