Burglary, Residence, Forcible Entry, Conspiracy, Stolen Property, Possession with Knowledge, Receiving: 1900 Block of Turk Street, Aug. 17, 4:35 p.m.

Officers responded to the residence for a report of a burglary, as the location had been previously reported as burglarized a few days prior. When the officer attempted to open the front door, they could not enter as the door had been shut from the inside.

Officers managed to gain entry into the residence through the garage and upon initiating a search of the premise spotted two suspects inside the residence.

Officers arrested both without incident. An officer noted several items had been stolen and a records check revealed one suspect was on felony probation from Sonoma County. Both suspects had been previously arrested for burglary.

Fraudulent Game or Trick, Obtaining Money or Property: Reported at the Richmond Station,

Aug. 21, 8:13 p.m.

The victim came into Richmond Station to report a fraud incident. The victim stated she received a phone call from a caller ID that said “Apple Support.” The victim answered the phone call and a subject identified himself as “Spencer Williams.” “Williams” told the victim that her Apple credit card had been compromised, and that he needed information from the victim to stop any fraudulent use.

The victim provided information about her card and her phone. Later that day the victim’s phone stopped working and she realized that “Williams” had actually done an e-sim swap, giving him access to everything on the victim’s phone.

All of the victim’s passwords to multiple accounts were changed, and they found numerous unauthorized transactions on multiple accounts.

Weapon, Deadly, Possession with Intent to Assault, Exhibiting Terrorist Threats: The Intersection of Haight and Baker Streets, Aug. 22, 4:36 p.m.

Officers responded to the vicinity for a report of a subject holding a gun. Officers were later flagged down by a victim who directed the officers to the suspect who was sitting near Haight and Scott streets. Officers approached and apprehended the suspect without incident; a gun magazine was laying next to them. Per the officers’ investigation, the victims were walking east on Haight Street near Baker Street.

As they approached the bus stop, they heard the suspect threaten to shoot them if they walked past. Wanting to avoid confrontation, the victims crossed the street and continued to walk east on Haight Street.

According to one victim, the suspect then reached into a backpack, pulled out a gun and fired one shot in the air. Fearing for their safety, the victims took cover behind vehicles. During a search incident to arrest, officers located a firearm.

A computer check revealed the suspect had a local warrant.
